Marybeth Foley
Executive Assistant
Joining MGA in January 2006, Marybeth brings with her 25 years of experience in
the Administrative and Marketing fields including experiences co-owning an
advertising/print company and working as the Director of Administration and
Executive Assistant to the CEO of a major company in the hotel technology
industry. Most recently, she operated her own professional organizing company,
creating systems for companies and individuals to efficiently manage their time
and possessions and she wrote and led seminars on effectively setting up work
environments. Growing up in southeastern Connecticut, Marybeth enjoys the
beauty of the shoreline. She resides in Clinton, CT and has two grown children.

Sarah Rindge Mathis
Underwriter Assistant
One of the newest members of Maritime General Agency, Sarah comes to us with a
love for boating and the outdoors. Born and raised in Connecticut, Sarah grew
up spending her summers on and around boats while on the Connecticut River,
Block Island, and Watch Hill. Sarah still spends time on her boat and has the
experience of restoring and maintaining boats. Sarah, a newly wed, has her
Associates Degree in Business Administration from Middlesex Community College
and currently lives in Old Lyme with her husband. |

Sarah Gonzalez
Underwriter Technician
Growing up on the shores of Puerto Rico, Sarah Gonzalez developed a natural
love for the ocean. Sarah began as an Underwriting Assistant at the Maritime
General Agency in October of 2002. Being new to the field, Sarah is
continuously expanding her knowledge of Maritime Insurance. She holds a CT
Producers License for Property & Casualty. When not at the office she
spends her time caring for her two little daughters. |

Stephanie J. Sacco
Commercial Underwriter
Stephanie J. Sacco, CIC, has 24 years experience in the Property and
Casualty Insurance industry. The majority of her experience is in the
Independent Agency System with concentration on sales and service of all lines
of insurance for large commercial businesses. In 1988, she acquired the C.I.C.
designation. Stephanie and her son, Stephen, have recently relocated to Old
Lyme Connecticut from the Hartford Area. She enjoys beach combing, golf and a
great joke. |

Ned Sawyer
Yacht Underwriter
Growing up in Mystic, CT, Ned worked aboard his father’s lobster vessel,
fishing in the Long Island Sound. He graduated from the University of Rhode
Island in 2001 with a degree in Marine Policy and a minor in Fisheries
Technology. Having spent the past five years living on the east end of Long
Island working in the marina industry, Ned recently moved back to CT where he
and his wife Carrie reside within walking distance of the beach. Ned is
licensed in P&C.

Jarixa Garriga
Underwriter Assistant
Jarixa is new to the marine insurance industry; however, she has proven to be quick learner and an important asset to the MGA yacht crew with her strong banking experience. A Shoreline native, Jarixa resides in Clinton, CT and when not at work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family. Jarixa and her six year old daughter spend as much time at the beach as possible.
